eBay Auto Parts Show
Amid supply chain challenges making new cars hard to find, eBay Motors reimagined the possibilities of car ownership. Crashing the New York Auto Show, we created a buzzworthy alternative: a takeover of the Classic Car Club of Manhattan, just steps away from the “official” event.
The showcase featured a series of “re-concept cars,” stunning transformations of existing vehicles into entirely new creations, brought to life in collaboration with top auto builders and actor/DIY mechanic Sydney Sweeney. These reimagined rides demonstrated the incredible potential of eBay-sourced parts and accessories, hijacking headlines from the traditional auto show and captivating auto enthusiasts and DIYers across the country.
Productions scope included designing and executed the takeover in collaboration with UEG, supporting auto builders with parts and accessories from eBay Motors, and conducting multiple photoshoots and content/social capture at the envent.
The campaign’s impact was amplified with widespread media coverage in Today.com, People, Vanity Fair, InStyle, Harper’s Bazaar, Architectural Digest, W Magazine, Jalopnik, Motor Trend, Yahoo, Daily Mail, Seventeen, and Page Six.
This bold activation not only stole the spotlight but also showcased the transformative power of eBay Motors as a platform for DIY auto enthusiasts to bring their vision to life.
